As you may know, I´m taking part in Kelly Rae Roberts Flying Lessons E-Course.
We are over 500 women with the same dream: to live a creative life.
This last week I have gotten so much inspiration from all of these fantastic, talented women.
I posted a couple of pictures of my work on our closed Facebook page.
Now I feel a little overwhelmed by the response and support.
A lot of these wonderful women are working with bright colors, and I absolutely love that!
So I challenge myself with the use of Pink, which I find appropriate since it is October and Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
I really want to be more daring in my choice of color.
But then again, working in my Art Journal with my favorite colors, within my comfort zone, is also so relaxing.
I just love all your art Mette... keep on flying. Love Caroline x
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! I'm a bit like you, as I tend to work with certain colors a lot, the ones that make me happiest are pink and purple, I love colors in the lower ones, they work really well, I sometimes wish I could create more with those sorts of colors, because I love the look and feel of it, but most of the time that doesn't really work for me. My thoughts is, try to expand your colors, but if brighter ones don't feel right to you, then you should go with what feels right. As Kelly Rae Roberts says, be yourself.
ReplyDeleteHi Mette,
ReplyDeleteWow I am so impressed by your work! I love all of the posts and art. I think the pink one is awesome too and am happy you went out of your comfort zone to create it. I am a breast cancer survivor and LOVE butterflys so it really speaks to me. Keep up your great work.
Debbie
Just wanted to say that I love your art work and the colours you use. I agree with Lynn Sweeney above. Experiment with other colours if you want but continue to use the colours that feel most right to you. Your art is beautiful because it comes from your heart. xx Joanne
