Butterflies by Night
These Butterflies turned out a lot different from what I usually paint.
I tried to challenge myself by using a lot of black this time…in the end I decided to bright them up with some silver, purple and violet.
Painted on watercolor paper and framed in Silver frame 40x50 cm.

Mariposa
Winter has arrived in Norway. The last couple of days has been cold and snowy.
I have mostly stayed inside painting…thinking of spring and warmer days.

First painting of 2014
December was busy. I spent a week in Copenhagen visiting my parents and had a wonderful time. I also finished a painting commission on a large 100x120 cm canvas.
The week before Christmas both our daughters came home from University… Family time!
I'm so happy to be back on track painting again.
This is the first painting of 2014…Butterflies of course!
It's 40x50 cm and framed in an silver frame with passe-partout.
