It's hard to believe , but it's been 3 month since my last blogpost… Sorry about that! This summer has been great and very busy. I've spent most of my time in the gallery. I've been very productive and creativity has been in full bloom. Blue has been my favorite color this summer.
These past weeks has been so busy. We had a big celebration for my father-in-law 85th birthday, my parents travelled from Copenhagen to spend a week with us, and I had my official exhibition opening in the gallery. We had a great time and the opening was a great success!
Now it's back to normal and I'm really looking forward to have more time to paint. I did manage to paint this small painting when I had some spare time in-between the celebrations and the visit from my parents.
"Lepus" Watercolorpaper and passepartoute in silverframe. 40X50 cm.
Since moving in to the gallery I’ve been in a really good flow and painting everyday. I enjoy spending time in the gallery so much. I finished two new paintings this week.
Great news! I'm so excited to be able to take my art journey to another level. My work is now on permanent display in "Det Grunnmurede Galleri" in the Old Fortress Town (Gamlebyen) in Fredrikstad, Norway. The gallery is a part of the artist community Bastion 5 with four Galleries and a Café. I'll be sharing the gallery with two lovely and talented artists : Vibeke Åmli and Mette Jerkås. The building is from 1696 so the surroundings are perfect for art.
